Hi guys I'm wondering if anyone ran in to the following issue on their fizzer.
Riding on the freeway today I noticed my instrument panel going berzerk. Traveling around 80MPH the speedometer momentarily went to 0 and back up to the constant 80MPH I was traveling at. Furthermore, the tachometer jumped up from the 6000 RPM all the way to 12000 and settled back at the 6K mark. There was no effect on the mechanical performance of the bike; it seems strictly electronic. I replaced the battery about 2 weeks ago and have not experienced this before. Could it be a fuse? A lose battery connection?

Suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere, as that is similar to what the instrument cluster does when you first power the bike on.

Could be a loose ground return and the circuits are trying to use alternate paths.

First thing I'd do is check plug and look for any loose ground.
