indicator lenses

G,Day everyone I am new to posting (my first one) and I try to reply when I think I have anything useful to add ( which is not very often) anyway before I bore you all to tears, I just ordered a set of clear lenses for the stock indicators for my 06 FZ6S and they are physically too big, the right shape and all but too big. My question is does anyone know if the indicators for 09+ are larger than the 06 models down-under. ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, also if it is covered elsewhere I apologize. I looked at the parts cattle dog but admit to not looking any further.

here's my thought on your lenses dont know if its true or correct. i guess you ordered the US version. in the US the indicators are larger due to DOT regulations and they function also as pod/sidelights. in all other parts of the world the indicators are physically smaller than on bikes sold in the US

Hi Michael,sounds like you ordered the US lenses,ours are the same as the euro bikes :thumbup:

Turbid is correct,for example Clear Alternatives lists 2 different sizes.

If you have ordered MCS lenses the part number is IY29K I have them on mine and they fit perfectly. Same as the 02/03 r1 and the tdm900

Thanks for your help, I don't suppose anyone in OZ is after the larger US clear lenses. LOL
