I have just bought a 2004 fz6. I love it. I want to find lower pegs to fit the bike but all the ones i've found so far cost too much. Any ideas?

Anyway i realized the bike has an inbuilt immobilizer. Can someone explain how this works? i have the red key, not that i understand what this does, but i gather it has something to do with resetting the immobilizer.

Also does anyone know what make it is?

Ps i live in the UK. Not that i know if this holds any relevence.

Thanks in advance. Bob.

Hi Bob,
I used to live up the road from you in Reading,
Anyway, UK bikes come with the immobilizer as standard. The red key basically allows you to re-code another black key if you lose a key.
Don't use the red key to start the bike and don't lose the red key. Lots on the issue here

Even more here http://www.600riders.com/forum/sear...7403879:h2j023-8xi0&cof=FORID:9&q=FZ6+red+key
Good luck with the bike, check to see if the front sprocket recall and TPS (throttle position sensor) have been taken care off and you will have a great bike.

Good luck
Neil
