I'm Bikeless!!!

Our two local dealers put on extra people to handle the loads. One takes some pride in fast turnaround of service.

I'm not one to use them though. I like to do my own work. :thumbup:

Well fast turn arounds are the only way to make any money as a mechanic. At one of the shops my father worked at there were a couple mechanics that are by far the best I know. When I cant figure something out, it goes to them thats for sure.

One of them came from MMI and he thought he was the stuff, however once he lost his attitude he set out to do some great work. Now he is working on a drag team that runs Kawasaki's.

But I remember the shop in Salisbury was backed up for about a month at one point in season. It was nuts, the mechanics were putting in some crazy hours just to get it all done.

Yea, the XR is sweet!! I'm in the process of converting it to a Motard.

hmmm shops here in ny arent backed up.... guess it has something to do with wellfare being one of the highest paying states must be 50% here or something or just no one has any money and everyone else expects you to work for free and give them a break on the price of the parts. pretty pathetic up here.....

Well now I know it was a bad sign! Two weeks 4 hours and some minutes later, I now have a working bike! Paperwork only says teh fan was bad and replaced. It checked it out before I left, and sure enough there is a nice new shiny fan on it. Rode it home and it actually came on. I'm ready for the riding season!

Now it's time to hook up with those guys up north and do the Covered bridge tour next weekend.

Yea, I let them know just how I felt when I picked it up. I'm glad to have it back though.

Here is the invoice! It says 14 days, but it was actually 15, they didn't put it in until the next day.
