If you've heard 2bros on an FZ before...

Do you think IN PERSON the 2 bros cans are TOO loud?

yeah a friend of mine had a scrap piece of aluminum and cut em for me, I painted em with bbq paint.

With just the db killers, I was still embarrassed to ride down my street. And on the interstate, I was ready to put the stock exhaust back on after about an hour. These babies rock now
 
I've finally heard the the Two Brothers exhaust this weekend. Saw them Saturday at a gas station on a Ninja 636. Should be comparable since its a four cycinder with a dual underseat exhaust too. He didn't have any power tips in. I heard him pull in, heard it idelling, and heard him leave. After reading about the reputation Two Brothers has for being loud I was surprised by how mellow (not loud), but nice sounding they were.

I heard them again Sunday on a different Ninja 636 while on a group ride. This guy also had no Power tips/ DB reducers on his system. I even ended up riding behind him for many miles. I didn't think they were even that loud, let alone too loud. It was a mellower ride, so he wasn't riping on it much. But I couldn't notice his noise over my own wind noise.

I think I might end up getting some now that I know that they're not obnoxious. By the way, These guys said they paid $1200 to $1700 for there systems. The cans look the same as ours, but they also have the pipe to attach down at the header. I think their price was also for the Power Commander and tuning.

Its either A. that you are deaf or B. the sound is very mellow on the kawi than the fizzer :thumbup:
 
nah, I agree with others that if you're not wailing on the throttle, then the 2bros are a nice growl. But once you poke and let the beast out of the cage...then they're loud. Now I just need to pay my cc bill this month and save some monopoly money.
 
My dad took my bike on a harley ride last summer(his harleys are torn apart), all the guys loved it, but they stayed back quite a bit because of the loudness. Yes, too loud for harley guys :D
 
My buddy who rides the yellow submarine in the pic has a crazy loud exhaust. his is about 2 or3x as loud as my 2 bros under full acceleration. I couldnt believe it. And the exhaust puts out huge pressure. When I pull up beside him at light and my leg is lined up with his tip, I cant get over the force its putting on my shin....Of course I dust him off the line everytime but I usually let him lead due to the fact he is a complete:squid: half-lid, wife-beater,shorts and sandals and he doesnt remember that I have just a few months riding experience. He does lots of line cutting and splitting, fingering....:Flip: I stay outta the way...:D

No wonder you have cruiser like tastes with the chrome on your bike, etc. :D
 
I have them with the db killers and I made some stainless steel screens that install just behind the db killers to give a little more help cutting down db's.

Plus it's kind of a good idea to prevent foreign objects for finding their way into those 2 big holes.

I don't think they're overly loud but I live in a condo (Covered Parking) and leave early for work so generally I start the bike and ride easy out of the parking area to the street right away.

I have the aluminum cans. They look and sound great.
