I purchased an OEM Yamaha seat.

I've been looking for an OEM Yamaha 'comfort seat' recently.
I found this one,just arrived,and want your opinion on if it's a factory Yamaha 'comfort seat'.
I got it from the UK.

I ordered it from Ebay,in the UK,and the listing didn't say which one it was,only 2007,08,09'.
The numbers molded into the seat base are: 4S8-00D

I got it used about 12 years ago. I don’t think it was used much when I got it.

I have garage envy!

It’s messy right now. The roof on my shed failed so I have all of those contents in the third bay. I’ll have to rebuild (and move the12x18 structure) the entire building in the spring. Out of the photo is my CB550 that is undergoing surgery. Lots going on.

Both versions in the photos look like other photos I have seen of the OEM comfort seats.
As far as fitting the bike, the S1 and S2 versions are interchangeable, the regular seat part number for the S2 superceded the S1 part number.
