I need a helmet cam

Seriously. Riding to work today at about 0530 and the douche in the SUV nearly killed me. I'm going about 80 down the road in the fast lane and the hairs stand on end. Do some head checks and notice a SUV coming up fast behind me. No red and blue lights, and since the road is wide open and 3 lanes wide, I just scoot over a lane. I mean, the speed limit is 65, I'm not going any faster than 80.

SUV comes up beside me and just holds speed beside me. Okay douche, wide open road and plenty of room. I call the guy an *** and chop throttle. The second I do he starts to get over. WTF? You just overtook me!

I banged on the side of his car with my hand. I would have used my foot, but I hit the brake as soon as his tires crossed the line (since I could see most of his car). When I brake, my top (usually) goes limp and I grip with my knees. I practice avoiding SR 1 and 2 all the time. So he snaps back left and slows down. I blew on by with a little sign language.

Wish I would have got that on film. ***-hat. Wonder if it would have counted as self-defense...

Had a similar situation with a @$$clown in a black pickup. However, traffic was a bit thick. I had a car in front and back of me. I was in the far left of three lanes. All of a sudden this truck starts to move into my lane. I am right up next to his window with the horn going( Need to get a louder horn, stock is not loud at all). Idiot is merging and never checking to his left. with only a couple feet left in my lane in which to ride. I lean the bike a little toward the truck. I quickly take my foot off the rearset, while giving my throttle the slightest of twists to get my speed just right. As I feel the driver side door panel cave under my boot, the @$$bag in the truck finally looks over and sees me. He swerves so hard back into his lane that he almost side swiped the car in the third lane over while braking hard. This gave me an opening. With a hard twist of the throttle I left that almost nightmare of traffic behind me. You have to ride like nobody on the road sees you, or knows you are there.

sounds like an a$$hat move on the drivers part, but hey man... not a race.. next time i would just let him by and leave it at that.. but good to hear that your ok.. hate stupid drivers some times.. ive been cut of before and have thought to move up next to the lady and to let the car have it.. but she hit a pothole while i was thinking and vered right to where i would have been if i had pounded on her car.. would have ended badly..
