I took (and passed) the MSF Basic Rider Course over the weekend! It was about time, as I had been riding with a permit for 3 seasons. :spank:
Anyway, I highly recommend this course for both new riders and for people who have been riding for awhile. For more experienced riders, you will be bored with several of the riding exercises. That being said, it is nice to be able to get to practice some of the avoidance and stopping maneuvers in a controlled environment, and with someone giving you tips so you can improve your riding skills. You may even receive a discount on your cycle insurance once you pass the class!
