Last night I went for dinner with some friends and one arrived with his new bike, a 2010 Honda CB1000R.

Now that is a pretty bike! I'd never really had a good look at one before, the first thing that surprised me was how small it is, it even seems smaller than my Fazer. As nakeds go it looks the bizniz, the single sided swing arm and the unusual wheel design add to the great looks.

Eddie's is white, he has already put a Puig screen on it; R&G tail tidy, Akrapovic and bobbins on order.

They are nice! I'll be taking one for a test ride as soon as I get my license back! From what i've read of reviews the main complaint about them is the rear suspension.

Nice looking bike! We don't have those here unfortunately. We can only get the RR, which is fully faired and has a double-sided swing arm. A friend of mine has one, and it's nice, but his still looks like a plain old superbike. This one looks has the added benefit of great looks too!

Yes, that's a wonderful bike. Even though I live in the USA, many US bike magazines have reviewed it and gave it the two thumbs up! I called Honda USA to tell them I think they should sell it here, and they told me there has been a great amount of customer interest in the CB1000R, so perhaps we'll see it in the near future. Great bike that has great technology.

This looks a lot better but is crying for a fender eliminator!

Check the length of the feelers on the footpegs!
