I watched a programme recently on Guy Martin and he stated that there AVERAGE yes average speed was 160 mph round the course, often speeds topping 200 mph.

These folks certainly have my respect :bow:

After seeing this thread i watched closer to the edge, the documentary made on the TT in 2011 featuring Guy Martin, and the track record on a 1000 is 131 mph average speed, on a 600 they are averaging 127 mph.

This movie really is worth watching!
