Holiday Pics

I decided I,d had enough of work in '08 so my wife and I packed up the car and took the kids to Middleton beach for a few days over new years.
We stayed at a place called Wenton Farm Holiday Cottages .It's our second time there.

Well we had a great time and came back very relaxed so I just thought I,d share a few pics of the trip.First two are at the farm with some very friendly chickens and some indifferent cows.

Lachlan was dying to get into the water so the next day was Horseshoe Bay.

Then we thought we would give the Steam Trains a go ,but it all got too much for Ben,lol

Day 3 dawned and it was off to Greenhills Adventure Park.No shortage of stuff to do here.

On the last day we thought we would go see The Murray Mouth via Hindmarsh Island as neither of us had been there .Was a bit windy that day, as you can see in the first pic The pics of the river show a lot of water but then the last ones are where the water should be ,not good .
Anyways we had a great time ,hope you all like the pics.

I was down at Goolwa fishing in my kayak just before new years and the water is around 2 metres below where it ought to be. Considering how flat and shallow it all is, that means it's pretty much empty.

Did you do any fishing?

That looks like a blast. All we have here for the most part is rain and misery. I am going to have to do something like that at Christmas time. We stayed home and cleaned out the attic, garage, and the house a little. A whole year of just putting stuff wherever will mess the place up a bit. Great shots and good for you and your family for the family time.
