HID Halo Headlight Opinion

I want to put HID's on my FZ6. I found these and like them because the have the Halos also. I want to know if these are worth buying.

Looks cool, I'd say go for it if YOU like it. It's your bike to do what you want. Take some pics while installing and again when everything is installed. Post them so you can help out your fellow Fizzers!

That looks like a nice kit. I think the seller's friend was posting to the other fz6 forum where some people bought them.

Personally, if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't waste my time installing halos. They simply can't be seen when my HIDs are on, and it's been twenty years since I hung out in parking lot showing off a cycle....

I have CCFL angel eyes, Audi strips and HIDs… I can honestly say they look really great! You won't regret it. But then again, it is all about taste. I was worried that my bike was gonna look too ghetto. But it actually came out quite tasteful


And my angel eyes can't be seen dead on with the HIDs on but if you move just 15 or so degrees to either side, you can definitely see them

Kit does look good! Will also fit my SV1000s Hmmmmmm.

The projectors in that eBay listing look a lot like the G1 projectors which have been used several times in the past.

Personally, I won't buy this kit, as I'd prefer to get the Morimoto Mini projectors.
These projectors have a bigger lens and projector bowl, and put out a better, more uniform beam pattern.
They do cost a bit more however ($295 including angel-eyes).

So you will have to take a decision: do you want to go with the cheaper projector type (G1 version), or are you willing to invest some extra money to get some very decent projectors (Morimoto)?
