Hi Im new

[XJpaul]

Hi everyone.

I live in london and ride a xj6n,I was wondering if the xj6 is the same as the new fz6 and from what year,we have no forum here in the uk for the xj6.

I was hopping that fz6 parts would fit the xj6.

Hey xjpaul :welcome:
Your bike is closer to the FZ6R, I think only some minor cosmetic plastics make them both different, there is a sister site that you can access trough here, FZ6R forums.

Look for the "site navigation" window on the home page. F6R sister site

:welcome:to the forum! The FZ6NR has a different frame, rear wheel size is 160 wide as opposed to 180 on the FZ6. Although it has a 600 cc class engine it produces about 20 less horsepower than the FZ6. The tail section, seats, and subframe are all different.
It's a different bike. As someone already said check out our sister site!

Edit: Oh yeah...different exhaust system...
