Hi Guys,

I need a new chain and can't seem to find where to order the stock chain. I would also be interested in changing the sprocket for better MPG but I can't seem to pin down what to buy. Could one of you helpful jent's point me in the right direction? Thanks mates:thumbup:

How many miles on the original chain and sprockets? Usually you replace both sprockets and the chain at the same time. I went with an EK x-ring chain, this one. When I replaced the chain, my front sprocket was relatively new, so I just replaced the rear with a new JT 46T one. The original looked completely fine and I honestly could not tell the difference between old and new (The old one had 20K miles on it) but the peace of mind was worth the $40.

Thanks for chipping in Vegas. I ordered up everything linked last night. Thanks for all your help mates.

i am replacing my chain. i got a RK 530 but i dropped a tooth in the front to 15t, cause i drive mostly city. do i need to remove any links with the front sprocket change?

Nope, you will just need to move your rear wheel backwards a little to take up the slack. This is done with the adjusters at the back of the swingarm. Adjust for 2" of chain slack. And make sure your rear wheel is aligned when you are done.
