Question Help/haunted/fuel gauge blinking full

Hi guys I hope ya'll having great time
I've a fz6n
I had beautiful idea of adding a kill switch to the headlight by just doing a bridge with the black cable buttt the fuel gauge before adding the switch were working as it should be no problems, once I did it it started blinking full, I thought by just removing it would work again but no.
It has led light

When you say you bridged the connection what did you bridge it to or are you saying you opened the black wire path?
Next' it might be a good idea to check your fuses. The fuel gauge level is determined by resistance levels within the fuel tank and calculated within a CPU in the instrument cluster.

It's was a Click switch and yes I did open the black wire path by talking off from the headlight socket

That might be a test point. What color are the wires going to the plug...
