Headers and burnt mud

Hey there guys been polishing my headers today and i noticed some burnt in mud between the pipes. Is there a way to get it off?

My resolution for this with my dirt bike is always to use a pressure washer. It seems to take all of the burnt mud off of my header pipe really easily, but this is a dirt bike. Be extremely careful if you plan to take a pressure washer to the FZ.
