I commute from Mt. Holly area to Linden most days. I bought the FZ6 because I racked up 10k+ miles on the Harley last year on the Turnpike. 7k rpm's on the highway isn't too bad considering the 13k redline. I've been riding the NJ area for 18 yrs plus. Sometimes the traffic can be a little stressful, but look to head west to PA or south to the pine barrens. You'll find some excellent riding there.
