Has anyone used Gun-Kote for motorcycle parts? Ive read about it being used on some other forums with great results, but has anyone on here used it?

I've also been very curious about this stuff! While on topic of using "gun stuff" on motorcycles, anyone try ballistol as a chain lube? :threadjack:

Haha, I was just thinking about this myself. As I live in a very humid area, near the coast, everything that isn't painted corrodes or rusts. My shift lever is getting a a bit nasty looking. I was thinking of coating it with some Breakfree CLP(or whatever it's called now), but I don't think it'll stay on while riding. I might just pull it off, clean it, and hit it with a few coats of clear.

My triple, clamp, radiator covers and gascap would look pretty good in the Gun-Kote 2400 series Satin Black (2401S). I am planning on getting aftermarket rearsets so I wont have to worry about doing my stockers.

It doesnt need to be sprayed on too think, so maybe I could just go with a single pint?

Would be alot cheaper than powdercoating....
