This years Great Teddy Bear Run, which benefits the Barren River child advocacy center for abused children will be held on Saturday April 5 2008. The Rally point is at the Warren County Justice Center located at 1001 Center street in Bowling green Kentucky. You can sign up as early as 9:30am and the Police escorted run begins at 12:30pm.
$10 per bike plus a medium sized teddy bear
$10 for a pillion
$5 for lunch at Harley Davidson of Bowling Green Lunch provided by Wha Bah Steakhouse Ranch
$5 for event pin
$20 for a t-shirt
Here is a picture from the 2006 run which was my first in Kentucky There were 1,500 riders for that one. The weather was nice and the temp was around 70F. Last year we left at 24F and had some snow flurries. 250 riders did however brave the conditions. It's a load of fun and all for the kids....
