Great day for a speeding ticket

UPDATE: Last week was my court date - though I requested a trial with the hopes of dropping it to a no points violation. Court date was moved to July 2nd.

Today I got a call from the prosecutor - because of my good driving record, she noticed that I am in violation of ORC 337.18 - and not, like we had originally thought, the speeding infraction. Turns out my Fazer didn't have brakes!

Anyway - showing up, will hear a speech from the judge on speed, bringing checkbook for the fees and calling it a day.

Its always concerning when motorcycles don't have reverse lights, have an unsecured towing load or get a seatbelt infraction. As a magistrate I would post those ones on the wall as a "what made me laugh today" lol. Be nice in court, they can always change their mind
