Good service place in London / 6k miles service

Hi there.

The bike I bought a few weeks ago got its last dealer service at around 600 miles.
Whilst buying it, I was told that the bike is due to another service (at 6000 miles).

Can anyone advice what should be done/changed at 6000miles and how much should I expect to pay for it? (in the UK; so far I was quoted 150 -200GBP).

Should I take it to a dealer/garage or is it something that can be done at home (oil change etc).

I haven't had any problems with the bike as yet, but of course it is my first FZ6 so I can't tell if it is working as it should

Also can anyone recommend a good place to service fz6 in or around London (east preferably).
I heard about one place in Sidcup, next to Sidcup Motorcycle Tyres - has anyone serviced bike there?

Hi Mate,
Look at your service schedule, there isn't reall a great deal done on the 6000 mile service that you can't do yourself. This does not effect your warrenty. I was quoted between £170 + vat to 120. So either do it yourself or find a decent independent mechanic.
