Hi everyone.

Im fairly new to biking, just passed my test. Iv been given a fzs600 from my dad. Only thing is it needs a bit of work. Iv managed to get a waterpump off ebay for 30quid but now i want to replace piston rings and all gaskets.

I cant seem to source any piston rings or gasket sets anywhere online, found one site that didnt stock my model.

Its a Y REG FZS 600

any help would be great to get me on the road!

You don't mention what year bike. This site has parts that goes back many years for the FZ. I don't know if their still available.

Babbitts Sports Center | Arctic Cat OEM Parts | Can-Am (Bombardier) OEM Parts | Honda OEM Parts | Kawasaki OEM Parts | Polaris OEM Parts | Sea-Doo OEM Parts | Ski-Doo OEM Parts | Suzuki OEM Parts | Yamaha OEM Parts

you could also try the thundercat model for parts, since the engine of your fz was taken directly from that model the internals should be the same even though the headgasket might be a bit thicker for the fz600

Scott - if ya from the UK... then try George White - Yamaha in Shoreditch... them guys can get almost anything Yamaha.

Also Fowlers, in London can get a lot of OEM stuff cheap, and delivered right to your door...

cheers, vj
