hey i checked the uk webby for yamaha and it seems that in 2010 there is no more fz6! there is only the fz1 and the xj6.. can anyone confirm if yamaha is gonna discon the fz6 model? for uk at least

hm.. well.. its a good and a bad thing. there would be more power but the fuel consumption would increase as well.. along with insurance costs.. but how about 2010? no more fz6 or fz6s2?

This is what i hate the most when i just bought my bike less than 6 months ago.It is definitely going to affect my resale price.

I would only imagine it would effect resale if your selling to some non motorcycler seeing as how the FZ6 is alot more powerful. Given the choice between a XJ6 and changing brands (always had a Yamaha so far) I'd change brands. It doesn't compare to the FZ6 and if it was the only bike available the next best choice was the street triple.
Who cares about fuel consumption, it still aint gonna be anywhere near as much as any "real" car!....more power!!!! Woohoo!

well, i dont feel that the xj6 is a bad bike either. i guess it is more suited for city riding.. (i live in singapore, the whole country is a city). dont like the swingarm tho.. not too happy about the 20hp reduction from fz6. but i love the naked xj6 looks! cept for the smaller tires
