FZ6 or BMW1200r

Is it a K1200R or an R1200R?

The R1200R has the boxer engine. The K1200R is an inline four, and is reported to be a madman of a motorcycle.

If it's the K, borrow it.

If it's the R, take the FZ6.

Are you riding alone or taking a passenger? If alone, I would say take your own bike, that way if you find some good twisties you can get a little crazy without worrying about it and you will be more comfortable on a bike you know.

If you are riding 2 up then I would take the BMW because it would be more comfortable for both.

Decided that I am going to take my bike...this way when I post my picks of the trip and you guys can see a FZ6 on the open road.

Too old to even think of using the FZ6 for that kind of riding.

I've discovered that the FZ6 is a very capable cross-country touring bike. I've got mine set up with Givi's and have done some great 2,000+ mile trips on her. 'Course, my BMW R1200R (and the R1150R before her) is the real LD workhorse in my stable. :thumbup: Are you coming to JAX in early March?
