Fz6 Launch Control ?

I came across a strange video on facebook about adjusting launch control.
It looks like CO settings but it's not.
Anyone have experience with this mod?

I'm not hearing and narration and as you pointed out, it appears to be simple co adjustments...

Never heard of launch control on an FZ6, not mentioned in the Yamaha shop manual, owners manual, etc.

Sounds like "click bait" to me..

Strangely, there are C3 and C4 settings also. And rpm gauge also reacts with the settings.

The rpm gauge (I noticed as well), seemed to go up, to where the CO setting was set to (IE set to +CO5, went to 5,000)

Below 0, the gauge stayed at the bottom..

I wouldn't / don't believe everything on the internet...

It hits a rev limiter at 8K RPM. What is that sound when he turns the key?
It's posted by Leon Jordan on facebook and he is talking about 'programming the ECU, so there must be more going on than we see (power commander or other programmer).

Ok, so he has written some of his own code into the ECU.
It's 2-step launch control. C3 is launch RPM, C4 is spark-retard.
