Fz6/gsxr thread

I went on a poker run recently with a local M/C. Some trikes and Harleys mostly cruisers.
I ride with a guy on a gsxr 1000,I usually loose him in the twisties and He catches Me on the straights. On this day he brought along a buddy on an 07 gsxr 600. After the first couple of stops the 600 guy ask Me what I had done to mine to make it so fast,Power commander ,Exhaust or what. I told Him it was all stock,But I was going to need a larger helmet now...

You dont have to have a "plastic fantastic" bike to be instantly fast! But i think a lot of the guys that buy these bikes, think that this is the case...get the bike...and instantly, they are going to be unbeatable....

In the right hands, both these bikes, should make you their "whipping boy".

Yup ... so true ...

Nothing beats killing an 1098s on the track with my fz6 ... hahaha. That guy thought the experienced group ment, the group with the most expensive bikes :Flip:.

And all in all ... the FZ6 is a very nice handeling/power bike for it's price. If only I had the 4 pot calipers .

Exactly! The original poster just proved that it's usually the Indian, and not the arrow that makes the difference.
