Well to start off I really liked the Suburban machinery bars, what I didn't like was the price.
I have a friend that is interested in custom fabbing up a mock replica of these bars to my specifications, hes a great welder and a perfectionist.
Basically hes made bars for Harleys and offered to make me these bars.
What I need to supply him with is the exact specifications for these bars such as bar diameter, precise measurements of each bar length, and angles that the bars join at.
I may adjust these slightly to fit what I'm looking for if needed, but here comes the great part. If these bars turn out good he would be interested in making a few trial runs for others on this forum at a much lower cost than ones available from Suburban Machinery.
If you also own these bars and have ideas for improvement please let me know, I'm aiming to fit these onto the 04-06 model range.
