I'm pretty sure the 2009 came stock with the comfort seat.

Nope. From what I understand, all the review/demo units were outfitted with the comfort seat...

But then they rolled them into the showrooms with the standard seat.

Well I bought one for my self from another member and it was very uncomfortable the first 1k miles after it wore into my but I love how comfortable it is especially when it sits in the sun all day and I get on it for a 45 min ride home it's really quite comfortable but very slick you slide forward easy

Thanks for the info - I am concerned about the sliding issue, and hear that complaint often, but I still want to give it a try.

Have you tried any products to try to mitigate the sliding?

Im just going to have a shop redo my stock seat and add heating elements because its starting to get cold.
