Alright everyone, it's time to sell my girl.
I bought this bike expecting to do a cross-country road trip on it, but a vfr800 fell into my life. I bought the bike with the intentions of having it as my last bike for a while. I'm asking $4500 . I am located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Onto the bike,
It is a blue 2006 Yamaha FZ6. It has 7024 miles and no more will be added as I switched my insurance over to my vfr. The bike is very close to stock minus a few things.
The oil and filter have just been changed with yamaha filter and yamaha oil.
Metzler tires are on the bike and have about 2500 miles on them. Plenty of life left.
OES frame sliders were added on.
Dual headlight mod was done by wiring right headlight into the empty pin in the wiring harness. It is easily reversible. Only the right low beam comes on so there are not any charging issues or battery charge loss.
A progrip tank protecter was added and the warning sticker on the tank was removed and polished so no evidence of it is left.
There is a small scratch, roughly the size of a dime on the right side of the fairing. I'm anal about my bike's appearance and it still doesn't bother me. It was procured by a 5 mph fall over with frame sliders installed. The scraped frame sliders were replaced with the OES.
The bike is PA inspected until September 4th 2009. If you are unfamiliar with PA, it is ridiculously strict with inspections, so everything is up to par and working.
The overall appearance of the bike is extremely clean. It even comes with a full tank of gas
!! It has been very well cared for by me and the previous owner. You will not be disappointed by this motorcycle.
