Has anyone used a front stand with the center stand? Is it secure?

I got a front stand today and when I lifted the front end while on the center stand it just didn't feel right. So I put it back down. The goal is to get both wheels off for new tires and I'm concerned it won't be stable with any wheels on the bike.

The center stand seems more stable then a rear paddock stand to me..
I had both a center stand and paddock stand because I wanted to remove the center,
but when I had it on it was way to wobbly for me..
Maybe I just bought a crappy paddock stand though.

I have an FZ6N so I don't have a centre stand. I have a front and rear paddock stand. I've had the bike on these with no wheels on and I have to say it was grand. They are not anything fancy either, just some universal stands.
Maybe post up a picture of your stands. Let us see them.

I have the power stands triple tree(?) stand, but I don't have a rear stand so that's where the concern comes in. I didn't think I had a need for the rear stand since I've been using the center stand. Trying to avoid the purchase of a rear stand, if possible.

I suppose I can do 1 wheel at a time to be on the safe side.

The rear stands are well worth the purchase I think. But remember I have no centre stand.

I think a rear stand is one of those things that all bikes should come with at least sport bikes any way. I say go out and buy one it's a good thing to have around. I only use the center stand on my bike when I'm out on the road to lube the chain any way I have stands at home for when I want to do it.
