Hey Travis - Both options are a big improvement over stock. The thing I like about the R6 fork is how well it tracks over bumps. It responds very quickly to changes and the wheel just follows the road surface perfectly. Even with the Race Tech springs, or other springs, the fork just doesn't track as well as the R6 fork set up.
Thanks everyone, you've given great feedback and lots to consider! I'm going to ride Defyintertia's bike, with his R6 forks and go from there. I'm really interested in first trying out an upgraded bike before deciding on how to go about this mod. I'm going to ride my friend's CBR 1000RR too, to see what the extreme is. Stay tuned!
