Hi,
I just purchased a 2008 Yamaha FZ6 S. I noticed that the fairing was not as stady as it should. It seems the fastning "brackets" made of plastic are broken,
Does anybody have any suggestions how to fix this?

Welcome to the forum. I would use OEM parts for the fairing - it's the only way to ensure that it is properly secured. Those plastic parts are inexpensive and available on-line or at your local shop.

What specific brackets are broken?

Replacing the entire cowl would be the correct way to go but isn't cheap. I've had the stock left directional tab on the cowl break off but epoxied it back on-no issues and not visible..

R&Ring the fairing is somewhat involved, not super difficult, but..
My '07 stripped down (when I initially got it-wrecked), replacing the fairing stay, fairing, etc:
