Hey guys.
Looking at a 2004 FZ6, the current owner has it registered here in ontario but the bike is from the states. it's all legit as the bike is licensed and insured here. Only issue for me is the bike is in miles and I need it in Kilometers.
Do I need a gauge cluster from a canadian bike? or do I need a speedohealer (or whatever you call them) or are they like some cars and snowmobiles where you can change it back and forth right on the cluster with a couple buttons?

your buttons on the side of the dials can switch between mph/kph im sure someone can confirm/elaborate

yup - have same bike

hold top button for two secs and it will go back
bottom button two secs will switch between clock and temp gauge
hold them both, it sets the time.

when I first bought my bike 4 months ago, I swore that they said I had less than 4k miles and they went ahead and did the 4k service for free - well when I got it home and went to take it out it was almost (i think) 7k.... went to go drive it to work it said I was doing 115, but traffic was keeping up with me.... I called and chewed them out and they were real nice and told me to bring it on in and they would have a look see. I did not want to bring it in until weekend so I drove it around a few days, and continued to complain to all my coworkers about my problem... on Friday I was driving home and I noticed KmH... KmH... wtf ... oh crap.... hold button in now says MPH and milage went back down to 4k miles.

I called service and canceled my appointment - he asked if it was on KPH, lowly sigh and <yeah>, he thought it was funny but was nice about it and we both laughed...
