Trying to figure out a fair price:
It has 12,000 miles The only mods are frame sliders---- and fender eliminator.

Garage kept.... ridden by a 54 yr old ......never laid down no cosmetic or other damage.

What would you think it should sell for???

======================
I am keeping the Harley and buying a FJR1300.

thanks for your input.....

and since I have been here since 2007 -- I will remain here..... after all I have my own ICON here :mikebike:

by the way if anyone here is interested make my an offer and we can talk....

Hey Mike, have you checked out the new 2012 Kawaski Concourse? I am seriously considering that as my next bike.

Good luck on the sale.

That is way below nada and bluebook at dealer trade in prices! That's a spanking deal! I thought I did good getting mine at 3200 which was dealer price and it had 14,000 miles. Around my area in Spokane WA, your bike is typically up for 3500-4000 with 10,000 miles on them. Hope that is of some use to ya. :)

I bought a bone stock 2009 with 3,300 miles on it a month ago and paid $4,800. That's $700 under bluebook for those interested. IMO, the market isn't very good right now. But I'd bet you see the prices going up a little now that the weather is getting warmer. I'd expect to sell it for less than blue book though. Most of the fz6's in my area were listed at blue book when I was shopping around.

I see the prices from retail Excellent ($4,425) to trade in Good at ($3,040)

I think I will list it for $4,000 and throw in the soft saddlebags and see what happens...... it is a fun bike and someone will get a nice ride :rockon:

I wuz think'in $4K too. I'd try list'n it fer $4,200 and settle fer $4
FJR's rock dewd, I luvz mine. :cheer:
I'm sure them Concourse are nice bikes, but the FJR has a much long fuel range, (I wouldn't own a bike that can't go 200 mi. between fuel stops) and the 26K valve check intervals.

Would think you would be able to get $4k out of it easily. Bought mine a month and a half ago for $3500, which I thought was a good deal.
