First Time Painting, what ya think?

This is the first time i have ever painted anything in my life, but i was bored and wanted to try my luck :BLAA: I think it looks cool, what ya think? :Flash:

If you want it to last, as it is in a "high contact area" with your foot, make sure to put some clear coating on it. Spary paint on it own will not last long.

yea yea i heavily coated it with a protected film spray as i did not want boot to rub it off was unsure of the black straight onto the silver but i think it looks good now i done it

Nice job. I was actually gonna do the same. Clearcoat makes sense.

Plus, it's cheaper (and quicker) than the carbon fiber heal guards for $40ish shipped from China on fleabay.

yea i agree! I refuse to pay for something that is possible going to get scratched anyway. So i figured why not do it myself and save some money

looks good. One suggestion though, paint your brake lever too. It stands out greatly now against the fresh silver.

looks good:thumbup: but you defiantly need to re paint the brake lever. Would look good in the oem blue too the same as the tank. I might have to try that sometime.

great job, i like the look of the contrasting color. contemplating in doing this but maybe with a blue tone to match the bike.

yea the break leaver is in bad state, it was involved in a tarmac accident lol couple years ago, it was bent back into shape but the surface of it it in bad shape, i was considering doing that also but didnt have the time on the same day but might deffo go for it next, think black same as the heel plate would look cool?
