So I purchased a fender eliminator kit on ebay from sportbikecreations. Despite pretty lame and incomplete instructions I got most of the kit on right, but one of the blinkers didn't work. So I cut it off to send it back and get a new one. There were also no instructions on how to connect the top led light that shines down on the license plate. So I thought I'd request those with the new light. Well.. tried to contact them by email and by phone both of which are now disconnected. Their website is still up but I guess they went out of business or something. Since I paid with paypal I thought I might be able to make a claim on it after not being able to get in contact with the seller. Well, paypal looked into and told me to return the entire kit to a new address (Im responsible for shipping and handling) and then I will be issued a refund. But my problem is I didn't disconnect the wires for the lights under the seat, as per the kits instructions I just cut the wires off the stock fender and soldered them to the new led wires. So, I'm wondering if I take off the kit and send it all back then buy a new kit how will the changes I've already made affect the new kit? Totally frustrated and pissed at myself for buying this kit and DREADING the downtime between removing the fe kit getting my refund, and getting a new f e kit that actually works... I JUST WANT TO RIDE!!!

Hey Mel;

So you want to completely abandon the FE you got or do you want to still try and make it work?

Can you not put the old fender and resolder the stock lights on in the meantime so you can still ride while waiting for a new FE?

From what I can see from the sportbikecreations website, there is left and right LED turn signals and I assume there is also a license plate light? If you want to give the FE you already have, take some pics of it with all the wires coming out of one pod light as well as the plate light and maybe we can write you up a set of instruction. Worth a shot maybe.........:thumbup:
