Nearly bought this exact car, when i ended up buying my Ford Falcon XR6....i wish i had now, as petrol is now 40-50cents a litre cheaper, than back then!

My fave's...the Charger, The Monaro, and the Phase 3 GTHO....dead heat between all 3!

If only you could turn back time  And they reckon its going to get even cheaper over the next few months :cheer:

I also have a big soft spot for the old Torana's...like Mike (Prebstar) posted a pic of...my Big brother had one when i was a little fella...it had extractors, sounded awesome, and Brocky dominated Australian Touring Car racing in one for a good couple of years....Memories of a time when the cars were brutal, and the men that drove them....were men! not like today's crop of youngster's...way too many mirrors in the pits these days...

:D

I love the Aussie muscle from the 70's.
There used to be a White Valient Charger not far from me,sat in someones garden. It was all original.Even had the 8 track cassette player. I used to walk past it for years watching it slowly turning greener and greener, but it was the same old story,he wouldn't sell at any price, because he was "Going to do it up"

nearly ten years after I first saw it in his garden, the scrap lorry hiabed it away to be crushed,as the chassis had rotted through the mud he had parked it on :(

I respect your opinions and all, and imma letcha finish, but the 1967 Mustang Fastback is the greatest muscle car of all time.

A few people have mentioned Mustangs, but they haven't selected the right year. The correct year is 1967 Mustang Fastback. I'd be OK if someone gave me a GT390 or the Shelby GT500 is cool, too, but the Shelbies are too rare and too overdone. :D

The best looking cars ever..

the big reson that I like the Holden is that for a while they imported it to the states at a Pontiac in the form of the G8. but I still like the Commodore more it gets a couple more powerfull engine options than the G8 had before GM shut down the brand.
