SOLD

I got a new perforated leather jacket and since I don't need two, I've decided to sell my Joe Rocket 2.0 perforated leather jacket. It's a size 2XL. It comes with the vest liner and is in perfect shape. Only used for one season. It's got the 8-inch and 360 degree zippers too.

Asking $150 plus shipping (~$15). Paypal only for payment and I'll ship the next day using UPS.

Yep, Crazy, Oz has it right. I'm a self-professed gear whore. LOL. The problem isn't that I can't find stuff to fit me correctly or that I'm picky...it's that I can't pass up a good deal when I see it!

I wore this jacket for one season (last summer) and I recently picked up a Teknic Chicane perforated jacket on Ebay, brand new, for $55. After having a chance to ride in it last weekend for the first time and realizing that it worked just as well as this Sonic, I decided that I didn't need both. Plus, the Chicane is blue/black, so it matches the bike...lol.

Looking a the prices do you take a lot of loss when you sell this almost brand new gear? If the gear was size L and proportionate, I would have snagged some of the nicer ones you posted. IMO Teknic is one of the best values which comes with nice Knox armor and build quality.

Bumpity...

Hey Crazy...sorry, I totally missed your question above! Here's my thing when it comes to selling gear that I've used: I don't want to bilk anyone out of money. I know that there are a lot of people out there that I bought used gear from when I was trying to get the proper stuff that didn't over-charge me for it and I try to pay-it-forward when it comes to selling my stuff.

Do I take a loss? Probably a little bit, but I'd rather sell someone a great jacket for a really good price and we both walk away happy than to have that jacket hanging in my closet either not getting used or being used very rarely. New gear can be SO expensive and I know times are tough. I'm known as the "gear whore" or "gear nazi" in our group but it's not because I'm prudish...it's because I don't want to see anyone ride without good gear. As one of our group leaders said a couple of weeks ago, we want to have fun during a ride but the most important thing is that we all get home at the end of the day safely.

Wow...that was a tome! Anyway...the jacket is still available if anyone's interested.
