Fazer went in for Service, MOT and new Front Tyre. Dealer lent me an Kawasaki ER6f. This was the motorbike I was going to get before I found the deal on my FZ6. I never got to do the test run on it, so this was interesting (even though it was pi$$ing down). For an underslung exhaust there was still the great twin sound and I'd even say pulled well (but did not have the 14K scream). Seemed to corner sweetly but (and I can only guess it's down to the lower seat hight) did not flip (left to right, like off a roundabout) so well as the Fazer. In fact it was surprising how much smaller it was. Oh and the gearbox was SO much less clunky...

All in all, though, I'll keep my FZ6 Fazer

The ER-6N and the Suzuki Gladius were at the top of my list before seeing my used FZ6 at the local Yamaha shop. I still have yet to test the Gladius but I agree about the Kawasaki. Not nearly as fun and powerful as the FZ6 and I really disliked the gauges (hard to read at a glance). Glad I didn't make that mistake!
