ELFR-1 DOT Flasher Relay from CustomLed

OK, so I am waiting for the full led all the way mod... tail light + 4 flashers.
As I was doing some reading, I realized that the speed of the blinkers would not be standard so I was researching a way to make it safe and standard...
Well, please check the link below as this might be the answer but I am not quite sure and I need some GURU's input

I just did the dual head lamp mod a few days ago and if I remember corectly the plug on top of the battery is the one shown here... right?

As well, this might have been answered before but if the led signals are 2 wire and this fixes the blinking speed... does also a relay make the led turn signals stay on or act as running lights as this is a security concern durring night. I am asking this as I would not conceive to have no running lights during my evening rides..

Hmmm... double checked their site and they DO LIST our favourite bike as a plug and pray compatible... would not wait... am I ordering it???


Hell just ordered it so I guess I will have to give feedback now. At least I won't cut wires if all works fine.

I just got one of these things, but I used it for turning my pod lights into modulating running lights.

While figuring out what wire to tap into for that mod, I studied the wiring of the turn signals a little. There are two power lines into the front running lights. One is +12, and the other is +12 behind the relay. I guess you'll replace the existing relay with this thing, and it should "just work."

That is wonderful news as I do not want to start playing/cutting around wires. If this will make the 2 wire turning signal work as running lights it will be just great!
