ebay in Italy

Need an item from ebay in Italy. Seller does not ship to the US (and it appears, only shops domestically). I've been unable to find this part anywhere else (unobtanium). Any clever ppl know how to get this purchased and somehow to me? Some sort of in-country proxy-purchaser? Anything? Really not sure if I have any options at all....

It's called parcel forwarding and it's been done for years. It's exactly an in country proxy.

Haven't used this lately, so can't recommend you any particular company.

Just so Scott doesn't ask me about status later I followed @bigborer advice and used one of the parcel-forwarding services to buy this. We shall see how it pans out, but this is by far the closest I've come. It is for this previously-mentioned project (which I've been riding more than working on)

You'd think - but no. Bike is an '87 Yamaha FZR1000. Oddly, I can't find the part (seat cowl) in Partzilla - should be here - but cmsnl.com has it, and was maybe more common in Europe (or even not available in US model)? Not sure how Yamaha typically rolled on stuff like this, outta' my depth.
