It seems much easier than the versions I've seen here. Is there something wrong with his version?

Nothing is wrong with this video, it took a lot of work to make it. Personally I'm not one to cut a wire if there is another way. I'm a BD43 fan when it comes to the dual headlight mod. It's a bit more work, but it's a lot cleaner. Good luck with your mod.

I'm not necessarily doing it, I'm just looking at all my options. Hell, I've only had the bike 2 days now...lol.

i posted this in electrical , it would work but it might burn out the h4 faster if you use high beams alot

It looked from the video like both filaments Hi/low in the H4 are on at the same time when brights are on. This is exactly what you don't want to do.

You can contact either BD43 or Motogiro on this forum. Each has come up with a clean way of performing this mod at low cost. I went with the BD43 mod but that was before the Motogiro mod was introduced. Both work really well
