so after a long and painfu (not to mention dangerous)l night of driving around collecting the items to do this mod, i think i have everything and am ready to go. I went to autozone for the "pin" connector to plug into the wiring harness, no dice, Salvo auto, no dice, finally pep boys had it, but not the assembly that others have used. hopefully these will work as well, they look similar... then hit up wally world for some wire loom an extra roll of electrical tape, shrink loom, and a soldering iron. done and done. then hit up radio shack for the flag connector. I think im ready!
as for the dangerous night, mild fog mixed with drizzle makes for idiots everywhere. accident at pepboys, then some old b!tch misunderstood the stop sign for a go sign and skidded up to my truck, notice i said up to, and not into, if it were into i would have called her a old dead b!tch. then on the way home i noticed some cars two lanes over on the shoulder, didnt think anything of it until i saw the car in front of me pull a 90 degree skid into the embankment. then i saw the dead dear i the road, wow. big trucks are nice to have i centered it under the truck, caught the end of its hoof and kept on rolling (there were police officers there, so there was nothing i could do to help that they couldnt, wold have been nice if they had their lights on though!) so.. eventful hopefully the mod will be easier than getting the parts......
here are the pins, anyone know if they are correct?
85347 i think it should be the same as other people have used, except i could only get 18 g not 16 g (as i have wire for) but it should still work..
