Here is a real beauty I saw on EBay some time ago.
I believe it's a 1993 YZF 600.
Very nice old Yammie!

Yes, yes I do.
Clarity: it isn't mine, but it spent a long time in my possession, and I rode it frequently enough to keep it charged, etc. Those big FJs are fantastic. I hated to see it move on to another home and darn near bought it myself.
I must be getting old mate, my idea of a classic Yamaha is:
Nelly
Yamaha cut its teeth on two strokes (oh and pianos of course), I love em.Yeah, me too!
Sweeeeet!

Is something from the 90's really a classic? What year is that one? Looks like they did an R6 front brake conversion, nice!

I am defo getting old............................er.
I wasn't brave enough to admit that I had an air cooled RD lol.I saw the title of the thread and was thinking R5s and air cooled RDs! Heck the bikes from the '90's are just getting broken in.
So if I rode Yamahas when they were new that are 20 years older than the bike at the beginning of the thread, does that make me classic or antique???
