Changing the Oil =)

Hello everyone! I'm looking to learn how to change the oil to my '07 FZ6, instead of paying others to do it for me! All the help is appreciated!

first things first, read the bike manual! all the information you would ever need is in there. The oil filter is on the right side (as you sit on the bike), you should change filter at the same time as changing the oil. the oil is refilled on the left side (you'll see the opening on the upper part of the engine) and the dip stick is lower down on the left side.

use a large dish to collect the oil in and dispose of it in the proper manner, dont dump it down a drain!!

what i usually do, and its probably not necessary but when i change oil i always flush out the remaining oil located in the base of the engine by pouring in some fresh oil and allowing this to flow right out...again...its probably not necessary but I like to see clean oil coming out until I fill the whole engine up!
