Go thru scenarios in your mind and decide what you will do when they happen. Run these scenarios in your mind while you ride. You can train yourself to act appropraitely even under encroaching panic.

Better coyote than the rider I guess.
 
My biggest fear, after the stupid cager of course, is hitting a deer. When riding at dusk esp., we have alot of deer around. I've seen enough videos of bikes going through deer with minimal damage to the bike, but I'm not sure how fast you need to be going to slice through. I figure if I'm going 50 MPH or less, I'll likely try to stop, and if I go down, I'll already be going slow enough. If I'm going over 50 MPH, I plan on putting my head down to protect my neck and WOT BABY!!!! This is all theoretical of course, it's all going to happen in less than a second or two.:eek:
 
that was disgusting,,,poor coyote and deer...
if that happens to my bike,im not riding it again....i wonder what the cost is
 
Ouch !

I bet that was some **** to be on the bike when that happened

I had a close call against a deer about a month ago left me shaken pretty good.
