My soft saddle bags were sagging a bit pushing down on the turn signals which snapped the fender eliminator right along the bolts where it mounts to the subframe. FE ended up jammed between the tire fender and the rear tire, rubbing my license plate and brand new rear tire away as I cruised on the highway in Nova Scotia, could have been doing that for as long as 150km . Surprisingly didn't notice a thing until I pulled over for gas and wondered where my license plate disappeared to.

Can't blame the FE at all

Is this Fender Eliminator coming with the license plate light?

Since that is my motorcycle and my pictures (uncredited.... ) on the showparts sale site, I suppose that I can answer the question. You reuse all of the stock lighting, including the license plate light. The FE kit is just a little piece of aluminum with holes and bends, but it's nice.

I'm amazed how clean my FZ6 used to be when it was new, as it's not that way now!

Also, I wanted to keep reflectors on my FZ6, so I made some adapter brackets and it all turned out nicely. You can see the pictures/info on my webpage here:
