buying a new helmet

I posted this in another thread but newenough.com is running some discounts on HJC and Joe rocket stuff. The few items I looked at were 20%+ cheaper. May be worth a look if you are leaning towards any of that gear.

I have a shoei and my wife has a scorpion. I would have gone with a scorpion as they offer a little more bang for the buck but they weren't that comfortable for my big melon.

i have the icon airframe and i totally love it. it's DOT and snell approved. the domain is neat to, but i think that retails for $350? the airframe is $250. that's in rubatone though, don't know about the painted ones. personally i like the looks of the airframe and it's a hundred bucks less. Motorcycle Parts, Gear and Accessories at MotoSport has them and you get free 2 day shipping on orders over $99. i have ordered a lot of stuff from them and they are great. check out the airframe, save some cash unless the domain is worth the extra $$. :thumbup:
