Sorry, working shifts and waiting for the new bolt. Takes 3 days to get Yamaha parts in !

Hopefully should get the bolt tomorrow :cheer:

Its all back together now and in the bike.

I've tested it on the centre stand and no grinding noise !!! :cheer::rockon:

Just need to finish it and get it on the road for a proper test

When you get time, are you going to pull the old apart and see if you can find any failures (IE, worn bushing, etc)?

Been out for a proper test today and i'm very happy to report that the gearbox noise has GONE !!!:cheer::rockon:

RE the old gears, i will have a closer inspection but not that fussed now. They will probably become art on my garage walls :thumbup:
