Sunday gentlemen's , after the toy run which i see so many of you are coming to...... Head up to Esk for a counter lunch and head over the mountain , What do you say ??
well, i tried to contact you humps, where were you. I ended up doing the circuit alonejust so happens that when I headed up split yard creek road it was virtually an uninterupted all the way over:thumbup:
Damian and I are considering doing the Sunny Coast circuit this Sunday morning early if anyone is interested. Probably target to leave Dayboro around 7 or 7:30am. Be back in Brissey before lunch. We tend to keep a move on and only stop about twice. Will confirm details Saturday arvo/nite for those interested.
Well for those of you who slept in :spank:, you missed a brilliant mornings ride. I think the forecast scared alot of riders away as there was hardly a soul around. :Flip:
Picked up Damain at Dayboro at 7am. We did the back end of Mt Mee (d'agular side) twice just because we could. Love that section of twisties.
Hooked into it a bit up the Maleny-Stanley river road up to Maleny where we picked up another rider Chris at the bakery. Meet and greet, bite to eat and we headed towards Kenilworth. They have finished those roadworks now so it's nearly double lanes all the way to Kenilworth. A hang of the bike session in those tight twisties into Kenilworth made us all grin.
I led the charge for the hill climb up to the Mapleton fuel stop. Another favourite section for the day. Just wish we had that single lane section closer to home.
We dodged a light shower heading back to Maleny. Went down to Beerwah to send Chris back to Brissy via highway :spank: while Damian and I headed west so we could have a go at those Peachester twisties. A quick shower of rain and sunday drivers spoilt it for us.
Headed for home with the rain chasing us and dark clouds looming. Damain went via Mt Mee (got drenched :Flipwhile I evaded to Caboolture to get around the rain. Arrived home dry at 11.30.
You ALL missed a great mornings ride.
Wat shoes are you getting? Hubby got Dunlop Roadsmart tyres. Really rates them. Nearly 12,000 kms on them and still going.Sounds like a great days ride , i was coming until i awoke to a light shower of rain....Ohh well next time for sure because im off to get some new shoes for the mighty XJR in the morning  , watch this space over the next few days though

Really, 12,000 km's.12000 K's really ??? I think im going with the roadsmarts then, was gunna try the Metzeler Z6 Roadtec's.... Might see what deals i can muster  Anything has to be better than 5000k's out of the OEM tyres
Really, 12,000 km's.
Come on, it's a comfy armchair rather than a sleek racing machine.....
:BLAA:
Ohh please , have you ever ridden it ???:BLAA: I got 5000k's out of the Dunlop Sportmax so maybe they forgot to tell me it wasnt a sportsbike.... Sure as hell goes like one , faster than the fizzer and handles better , go figure

Never riden it.Ok, I'll reserve further judgement until I do.
It's a little daunting for me - bit big and heavy for me.One day I'll have a ride.
Have to agree with you on the power. Mike says it blows other bikes away at the lights.
Fizzer's perfect for me - just the right size and power.
Did you have a look at Eagle Screens in Perth?
